So, why contribute to Welcome to Anxiety events? Because sometimes being heard and knowing you are not alone is so incredibly helpful for your mental well-being. Understanding, compassion, and kindness are crucial. Sometimes we need to stand with others to help us become stronger. Sometimes we need to expel emotions, purge our souls, in order to keep moving forward and why can’t we do that through creating beautiful things? Our pain, loss, mental health, etc. is not always something we want to display to the world but let’s try to take those things and find beauty in them because you can feel better, you will feel better, and you will inspire others to feel better too.
